| there's so much to say... nowhere to begin. new love, new friends, new experiences. i love him, and i need to tell him, finding the right time may be tricky. but i'll know when it's right. college is new and exciting, my friends are amazing, though not as cuddly as the ones in lansdale. holy fucking shit i'm going to otakon. so many nerdgasms to come, and with many pictures. this is all i can say as of now. my train of thought has turned into many trains buzzing around each other, some crash, some don't. but in the end it all comes together, it's up to me whether it becomes a knot or a road. ...time does tell all, and when hope is lost, feelings are doubted, and fear is dominant in your mind, all you need to do is talk and breathe. after that, all you can do is wait and look forward to good things. ~MK | | |
| so! haven't updated for a long time. pretty much because i've nothing to say. my holiday was super, and so was Tandokucon. i've been trying to get in touch with my japanese teacher but many things have gotten in the way of seeing her multiple times. now i believe Mitsuwa will be on the 13th and i might have a final that day. if i don't i will skip class and go with...someone. maybe i'll get my permit before then. we shall see. well, if you guys wanna chat, leave a comment and i'll answer back. ttyl! ~MK | | |
| ok so today was my first day of classes. only had 2: english and japanese. english was meh. my teacher's last name (Ijeoma (E-Joe-ma)) sounded japanese but she's black so...yea. my new sensei (but never replacing the original) was very nice. she was similar in personality to Sensei, but she has short hair and wears pants. we played a game i like to call Hiragana Slapjack. she would read the hiragana on her card and we had to find the right corresponding card, slap it and yell "Hai!" i got 8 cards. Claire got 14, rawr. >.< so that was pretty fun. and we also watched a movie called "Big Bird in Japan." it was kinda funny. sensei (Hiromi Gerety, btw) has a very heavy accent so it was a little bit difficult to understand her english, and she tended to trail off a lot. we'll get used to it, and claire and i seemed to be pretty far ahead of the current students already. this is lvl2. it's gonna be fun. time to email Sensei! sayounara! ~MK | | |
| so...it occured to me that a lot of people say that nothin comes for free. i beg to differ. i believe there's an aweful lot in life we get for free, which are known as the things we take for granted. hmm... not sure what to write next. well earlier i was thinking about taking a walk in a woody area is always a nice free thing to do. literally stopping to smell the roses once in a while... i think sometimes people need to get out of their daily funks and go find some new experiences. i myself being a naturally cautious person am not about to go skydiving, which is technically a new experience but let's not push my limits, k? moving on...i had another deja vu in class, it was pretty weird. i normally get them in dreams and sooner or later the situation will occur in real life. it's just that when they occur i forget whether or not i've even dreamed about it before. it makes me wonder if they occur on another level of sleep. supposedly at the lowest level (4) we dream. what about at the half asleep stage? i was half asleep in class yesterday and even though i could still hear my teacher and see my classroom i dreamt about falling and i jumped a bit after "hitting the ground." it was kinda weird that i could still see (to some extent) and hear everything still going on around me, yet i still had a dream. i remember having dreams about beating video games before, wish i could do that a little more often, lol. so, i'm about out of thought for right now... that damn 5 page religion paper still floating in the back of my mind like a mosquito, rawr. time to play some SMW. sayonara! | rawr, world religion midterm on friday. i did ok, except i forgot to study the 4 fuctions of religion. so as an answer i put: "even though i studied every religion that we've looked at so far, for quite a while...would you believe that i forgot to study this part?" XD but on the other 2 essays i did well. unfortunately i have a soc midterm on monday >_<. i'll just look over the 2 quizzes i had, along with the stuff pre-highlighted in my text book. no big deal. ted n i got done early so we headed to the local sushi place for lunch. unfortunately we didnt get back til after 12, so a bit of a mix-up occured, got a slap on the wrist and that was that. but at least the sushi was good. sayounara! -MK | | |
